Does Aurenda provide the medical care?
No. Aurenda builds the aircraft and its critical-care cabin. The clinical care is delivered by the operators, air ambulance charities, health systems and providers who fly the aircraft. We equip them to deliver the best possible care in the air.
What is the cabin equipped for?
The Avectra 101 cabin is stretcher-configured and engineered as a mobile intensive-care environment, with secure mounting and provisioning for monitoring, ventilation, infusion, transfusion and advanced airway management, plus the space for a crew to work in flight.
What does 'telemedicine-ready' mean?
The aircraft is built with the wiring, power and connectivity so operators can run a real-time telemedicine link, streaming physiological data and audio or video to a remote specialist. Aurenda provides the capability in the airframe; the operator runs the clinical service.
